EORC started operations in the early 1950s, but our origins go back over 100 years. From initial endeavours to assist in the reconstruction of a post-war economy, our strategy quickly became one of expansion and diversification. We’ve built the business with the clear aim of fostering alliances and developing markets, at home and overseas.
The EORC Group itself is part of the W.J. Parnis England Group, a holding company whose interests range from international shipping to the manufacture of industrial cleaning chemicals. Set up in 1899, W.J. Parnis England today is part of the Islands’ commercial history and a respected investor in a wide range of commercial enterprises in Malta.
EORC itself has forged long-established strategic ventures, such as a two-decade collaboration with Aarhus Olie of Denmark, one of Europe’s largest oil refiners. These alliances are mutually beneficial. They allow us to develop our businesses in line with international benchmarks, while brands gain in EORC a partner with a regional presence and proven expertise in developing new markets.
